Shane Munro created his own history by winning his first Australian Microsprint Title, the race went flag to flag,
the emotion was evident on Shane’s face during his acceptance speech saying “This is my first Australian Title that I have finished in Seven years”. I am sure we would all agree that it’s a pretty special moment winning an Australian Title let alone the first Australian Title that Shane has finished he finished in the top spot! he did it in emphatic fashion hunting down earlier leader and multiple Australian Title holder Mitch Isaacs, Mitch took the lead at the green with Shane following closely behind him until lap Eleven when Shane made his move and never looked backed!
Mitch Isaacs had a solid night with 2 heat wins and a 2nd place. Mitch lead the feature race for Ten laps until Shane made the move and drove away from Mitch on Lap Eleven. Mitch was lucky to finish as his number 7 was running extremely hot with two laps to go. Jason Glynn moved into 3rd with a last lap, last corner pass to take it away from Paul Curran
